Volume ten is the latest in a series devoted entirely to the fate of victims of Soviet repression in Central Asia, primarily Kazakhstan. The book consists of accounts from Poles who describe their journey to Kazakhstan, the horrific conditions in exile and concentration camps, and the difficult path to Anders' Army. Eyewitness accounts vividly illustrate the dramatic fate of those who ultimately managed to escape the Soviet hell.
